Tomorrow I'll fly home →
I hate packing up, I despise having to think ahead what to put in a luggage that needs to weigh less than [insert minimum here] and which dimensions must be less than [likewise] to pass it as carry-on. The laptop from work comes along. Unlike last year at the about the same time when I had had all the time necessary for development this time, the project having picked up steam, I haven’t...

"is" is history →
Milestone today. “Is”, on Facebook, is not more.

didn’t translate into a donation but I have hopes.
bluff →
Strange experience to call someone on his bluff. That that someone is highly regarded by all and whatever he says is normally not meant to be questionned totally took me off guard. Here is one of our letters you didn’t reply to! Turned out a letter we had sent months afterward, rapidly retrieved while other colleagues were still wondering what to answer, read document in question, as...
Home instruction →
Very interesting program on the radio: Home instruction i.e parents teaching their child(ren). Statistically ‘only’ a fraction is concerned: 3000 back home. Going to school is not an obligation, unlike in Germany, but one must prove his/her child is given proper instruction. Like one mother said: sending children to school is very comfortable. Another one reflected over her own bad...
looking alike →
My brother and I tend to look more and more alike. He’s just younger and heavier.
Be green →
English humour, don’t you just love it. Back home this would probably be censored.
news →
Not watching the news, that is having deliberately rid of my TV a couple of years back, I honestly can say I’m kind of ‘ignorant’ in some fields of the informations. I set up my news aggregator with numerous and various threads from many news websites. I listen to France Inter and the BBC but I must say as soon as what I read and hear looks and sounds too...
Wine →
Yesterday I had left a bottle of wine next to the sink in the kitchen. Tuesday is the day the maid comes. There was the equivalent of two glasses left. This evening I realized the bottle was nowhere to be found. I hope she drank it. Regardless, she’s crazy that woman!
Livejournal becomes russian →
Following the news mh58 posted on his blog. View Poll: Livejournal bought out
Those who chose the option “I’ll quit and find another platform” please do indicate which one.
Argument II →
Well, it seems that my comments led my ‘partner’ (the one I cross arguments with upon a matter we have dramatic opposite opinions) to write comments in turn. For one thing he’s not polite and punches below the belt very often. This should be enough to disqualify him but I’d rather call him on his wrong reasoning. Suddenly it appeared to me that this could be a perfect...

Thank you →
Because one should always thank those who help others. Maybe even more when they do so without even knowing it. His name is Helge, lives in Austria and apparently likes Obama Barrack … for all I could understand of his blog. It’s in German. I was Googling©™ in search for some hack to embed a flash animation in my wiki, under Mediawiki. His script worked beautifully, in a matter of...
